I recently started working on IMAware which is an Enterprise Ireland-funded POC project which aims to develop context-aware eHealth applications over an IM framework. There are several application domains that could benefit from such products including

• Independent/assisted living

• Telemedicine - telemonitoring and telecare

• Hospital-based applications: context-aware electronic patient records, equipment monitoring and communication

• Personal/’lifestyle’ healthcare

Products will be based on the existing IMIS framework developed in the TSSG.
